The Sunday Support Team plays a vital role in making sure our services run smoothly and everyone feels welcome and cared for. Their behind-the-scenes support helps create an environment where people can focus on worship and encounter God.

What Does a Team Member Do?

Roles are varied but can include:

  • Welcoming – Greeting people as they arrive and helping them feel at home.
  • Seating – Guiding people to seats and making sure everyone is comfortable.
  • Car Parking – Assisting with parking so arrival is safe and stress-free.
  • Communion Stewards – Helping serve bread and wine during communion.
  • Prayer & Scripture – Leading prayers or reading from the Bible in the service.
  • General Support – Covering all the little but vital details that make a service run smoothly.

Who Would It Suit?

This team is ideal for people who:

  • Enjoy welcoming others and making them feel comfortable.
  • Like being practical and hands-on.
  • Are flexible and willing to help wherever needed.
  • Have a servant heart and want to support the whole church family in worship.

No specialist skills are required—just a willingness to serve with a smile and a steady pair of hands.

How the Team is Supported

  • Simple Rota – Everyone shares the load across the team.
  • Clear Guidance – You’ll always know what’s expected for each role.
  • Team Environment – You’ll be serving alongside others, not on your own.
  • Encouragement – Regular support and appreciation for the vital part you play.
