Worship Team

The Worship Team leads the church in sung praise, helping the congregation connect with God through music.

What Does a Team Member Do?

• Vocalists – Lead the congregation in worship songs, setting the tone and atmosphere.
• Musicians – Play instruments such as guitar, bass, drums, or keys to support worship.
• Worship Leaders – Guide the congregation into God’s presence through music, Scripture, and prayer.

Who Would It Suit?

This team is ideal for people who:

• Are passionate about worship and helping others encounter God through music.
• Sing or play an instrument and are willing to grow in skill.
• Enjoy working in a team and serving alongside others.
• Have a heart to serve God, not just perform.

You don’t need to be a professional musician – just committed, humble, and willing to learn.

How the Team is Supported

• Regular Rehearsals – Time to prepare musically and spiritually as a team.
• Mentoring – Guidance from experienced worship leaders and musicians.
• Spiritual Support – Prayer, encouragement, and growth in faith as well as skill.
• Resources – Song lists, chord charts, and recordings to help you prepare.
